Two branches, one state
Midwest Door has run out of Lincoln since 1992 and out of North Platte since the business grew west. Between them they cover the whole state and the Omaha–Lincoln metro, and we serve national retail clients from the same two counters.
Lincoln carries the fabrication shop — the only one west of Omaha — where stock doors get modified for small jobs and frame pieces are assembled in-house for large ones, instead of paying for factory-welded frames and the freight that comes with them. North Platte is the counter and stock for western Nebraska, where the next distributor is a long drive away.
Deliveries run on our own trucks from Council Bluffs to North Platte. We do not hold an order until there is a full truckload — the route goes out area by area, so a short order still arrives when you need it.
What the branches cover
- Hollow metal doors and frames, wood doors, hardware, fire-rated assemblies and Division 10 — stocked or ordered.
- Two to three day delivery on common stocked sizes; three to five weeks on most special orders.
- Door, frame and hardware adjustments and repairs in Lincoln, North Platte and parts of the Omaha metro. Installation on small and midsize jobs through trusted third-party installers.
- Keying and master key systems built before the hardware ships.
- Cosmetic wood door repair — gouges, holes, scratches and dings — in place of a replacement door.
