First Baptist Church

Midwest Door & Hardware partnered with First Baptist Church during the renovation of the former Kearney High School, a 112,000-square-foot transformation into a modern space for worship, education, and community programs. Our team was engaged early to provide consultation and recommend door and hardware solutions that aligned with the project’s security needs, functionality, and budget.

As renovation plans evolved, portions of the existing doors and frames were reused, creating hardware compatibility challenges. Our team worked closely with the architect and jobsite superintendent to adapt quickly, offering alternative solutions that balanced performance, appearance, and cost. Through close coordination and flexibility, the project stayed on schedule, allowing the church to begin services in the renovated space as planned.
